The world is changing
Mood, technology, attitudes, opportunities, wealth distribution, power centres to name but the tip of the ice burgh
Are all shifting before our eyes
There's an old order and a new one emerging, shining stars appearing all the time
I happened across one such person this morning
Brit Marling
She is an amazing example of a new order, not waiting for 'permission' to do the things she wants
Getting on with it and forging her own path
I'm watching her with great excitement

Once upon a time...
...there was a jewellery designer. She worked for this fabulous person and that fabulous person, she won awards, her collections were stocked in the best stores worldwide - she was successful, yet something was missing, she was left with a feeling of discontent - she felt unfulfilled. Then one day on a rooftop in Marrakech she met somebody who would change her life forever, who would open her eyes to a higher level of thinking, feeling and appreciating the wondrous things the universe has to offer. She learned so much from this person that life could never be the same again, she could not continue in the same manner as before - everything had to change, the only thing to remain the same was that she would still make jewellery, because this was her passion and had been since she was a little girl.
'a kind of fine' grew out of her response to this experience, and this collection is an expression of her love.
